Example of what a little editing will do. This picture is ok...kinda blah. Setting is ok, girl is cute, but mainly, the eyes don't pop for me.
Lightened the overall picture a bit. Applied "vignette" to the sides. Then spot lightened the eyes. Ah. Much better.
