These are some of the drawings I'm working on for my grandpa's book.
The pencil lines are a little smoother in real life...my camera tends to make the pencil smudging look a little choppy.
And the one I'm working on now.

Envisioning
I got the idea for this drawing off of an artist's blog. She did the picture in watercolor, but I used colored pencils (verithin and a white prismacolor).

Me and Joel

Well...I was envisioning Joel someday with hair

Out the window, the wind was blowing so hard...all the snow was blowing off the roof

hence the reason my hair is blowing away in this drawing

burnished everything with a white pencil to give it more of a watercolor look
