Hmmm...

Last month, Timesonline.co.uk put out a super interesting article, written by an atheist, about why Africa does need God. If you don't have time to read the whole article, at least read the first 6 and the last 2 paragraphs.

As an atheist, I truly believe Africa needs God

"Missionaries, not aid money, are the solution to Africa's biggest problem - the crushing passivity of the people's mindset"

Whoa. And wow. How can this guy be so obviously impacted by the results of the transforming power of the gospel, and be so unmoved in his own beliefs? Excellent article though! I would say that the same is true in any culture--that as we look at one or the other political party here in the US to stand up and lead righteously and justly, it really doesn't matter how many programs you initiate or kids you successfully send to college. It boils down to the same need in every human, every culture. The need is for that personal relationship this atheist author describes, and without it, every interaction with other people or our physical surroundings will be riddled with sin and brokenness.

Thanks for posting!
